Option A - The Santa
Monica Plan
is perfect for smaller groups during
regular show times. Be our customer! Smaller holiday gatherings, social groups
or off-duty business outings find this option attractive because it avoids the
larger financial commitment for the exclusive use of an auditorium. Just come
to one of our regularly scheduled films as a group and pay individually or on
one large tab. We always suggest arriving at least 40 minutes prior to any
regularly scheduled show time to ensure the widest selection of seats. Tickets
for a brand new title can be purchased on line or at the box office in advance
or, with older titles on the day of your "get together" when the box
office opens. Contact our event coordinator if you have an especially large
group (50 or more) and, if your group is all present prior to the
regular public seating, we may be able to pre-seat just prior to the general
audience (just speak to the usher or a manager the evening of your event prior
to seating). Food and beverages are ordered from the regular menu and purchases
must be paid for at the end of the film by cash or credit card (we do not
invoice or accept checks with this option). No outside food or beverages are
permitted. An automatic gratuity will be added to all groups with six or more
guests. We do not discount admissions for menu items for large groups with this
option. There are no refunds for ticket purchases and seats are not reserved so
be in line early!
Option B - The Burbank
Plan
is for daytime child oriented field trips for schools, youth or religious
groups, scout troops, organization outings, etc. This option is available
before the facility opens for regular business and requires a certain minimum
group size and financial commitment. This option includes the exclusive use of
the room 30 minutes before show time, the film, food, drinks and service. A
special kids menu comes with a slice of cheese pizza, popcorn and soft drink.
Additional popcorn and candy is available for purchase. No outside food or beverages
are permitted. A 100% non-refundable advance deposit and a signed
agreement are required to hold your chosen date and all events must be
confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date. One chaperone is
required for each group of 25 students. Note MPAA guidelines so please select a
movie that is appropriate for the age level or have parents sign a permission
slip for that title. Ratings are available for any film at www.mpaa.org. The
sponsoring organization is responsible for supervising the behavior of the
guests and of course any damage caused by misbehavior. We recommend an on site
tour and meeting with our special event coordinator prior to scheduling your
function to insure the smooth operation of the event.
Option C - The Malibu
Plan
provides for exclusive use of an auditorium during the day when we are not
otherwise open for business. You can schedule your event during our
non-business hours for holiday parties, celebrations, organization meetings or
group gatherings with or without showing a movie. This option is available
before the facility opens for regular business and does require certain minimum
group size and financial commitments. A 100% non-refundable deposit and a
signed agreement are required to hold your chosen date and all events must be
confirmed at least 2 weeks prior the scheduled date. We provide meals by each
guest ordering off a special daytime menu or we can serve buffet style, each
method for a flat rate per person. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
Current films can be privately enjoyed for an additional per person charge of
the regular matinee ticket price. Classic or specialty films can often be
acquired with sufficient notice and will be billed at cost including shipping,
plus a $100 service charge for the projectionist to build the film. We
recommend an onsite theater consultation with our special event coordinator
prior to scheduling to ensure the smooth functioning of your event. Perfect for
larger social groups, parties, conferences, seminars and business
functions.
Option D - The Beverly
Hills Plan
gives you the exclusive use of an auditorium during regular evening hours.
Great for business meetings, parties, fund-raisers or group gatherings with or
without showing a movie. This option does require certain minimum spending and
group size with increased financial commitments which are charged based on each
pre-empted public screening. A 100% non-refundable deposit and a signed
agreement are required to hold your chosen date and all events must be
confirmed at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date. We provide meals by
guests ordering off the menu and running a tab (tabs must be paid at the end of
the show by cash or credit card). No outside food or beverages are permitted.
